As a small child my father would tell me with stories of his youth and young adult life in the 1940's through the 1960s. These stories sparked in me a fascination with the lives of the people who came before me. Both my father and mother also instilled in me a keen sense of collecting. This passion for history and collection paired with a love of classic style and fashion formed the foundation that would eventually lead to the creation of Love & Dust.

In 2011 I noticed a pair of Bakelite earrings in a pile set for a garage sale my sister was having. I immediately asked to see what my sister was selling as junk and saved some amazing pieces. The next day Love & Dust began and with my first sale (those Bakelite earrings) I never looked back.

Now I am constantly on the hunt for the beautiful, the fun, and the different. Most importantly I believe that vintage is for EVERYONE!
